Children's Summer Music Theatre Camps

McKinney Repertory Theatre conducted two camps this year!  "Godspell, Jr" ran from June 16-29 at the Heard-Craig Hall. Lead instructor for Godspell, Jr was Wes Bourland, music theatre major at the University of North Texas.

"Willie Wonka, Jr"  ran from July 14-27 at the McKinney Performing Arts Center. Instructors for "Willie Wonka, Jr" were Cindy Johnston, Choir Director at Evans Middle School; Phyllis Welch, Associate Director of Theatre at McKinney North High School; Kirk Anderson, Choir Director at Scott Johnson Middle School; and Jake Correll, MRT president. 
 

                                  

"Belles"

The opening show of our 2008-2009 season, "Belles", by Mark Dunn, was be performed in the Courtroom Theatre at the McKinney Performing Arts Center, 111 N. Tennessee Street. Directed by Jana Walters. Performance dates/times are:  October 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 9th, 10th, 11th, at 8:00 p.m. and October 12th at 2:00 p.m. A play in two acts and 45 telephone calls between six sisters spread across the country sharing their trials and tribulations.

"A Christmas Carol"

McKinneyRepertory Theatre presents our annual production of "A Christmas Carol", adapted by Dr. Andy Harris. Performance dates and times are: November 28th and 29th at 2:00 and 5:00 p.m., November 30th at 2:00 p.m., December 6th and 7th at 7:30 p.m. and December 8th at 2:00 p.m. Directed by Cody Lucas. Tickets can be purchased online at McKinneyperformingartscenter.org, by calling the MPAC ticket office at 214-544-4630, or at the box office. All performances in the Courtroom Theatre of the McKinney Performing Arts Center, 111 N. Tennessee St.
